Wednesday, Mar. 09, 2005 - 9:25 am Hello Miss! ...sorry that greeting has been etched into my brain from the millions of times I must've heard it. But it was nice but passed all too quickly and now all I have left is a definative tan line and a whole bunch of mental snapshots of a dozen perfect moments. Snapshot #1- Lying against the boy and watching the night sky, naming a sparkley christmas tree like constellation and seeing a shooting star. There were many more, so many lovely moments that seemed to exist free of anything and everything. There also was crazyness involved, cos y'see Indoneisa doesn't have Road Rules as such.... they're seen as more of...well "guidelines"... so those little white lane divider lines they paint on the road are more for decoration.. like the pedestrian crossings.. And yes, going into oncoming traffic is fine as long as you're fairly sure that the oncoming trafic will mainly avoid you. Oh and did I mention that cars there often don't have seatbelts in the backseat.. that too is optional. ..I'm at uni now having missed my first class and *cough*the previous two days*cough*. So I should go, perhaps later I might tell you how I got duped by a monkey. |
